Gaafu Dhaalu Atoll forms the southern part of the massive Huvadhu Atoll — the largest natural atoll in the world by land area. Its remote location means pristine, largely undiscovered reefs and a raw, authentic atmosphere increasingly rare in the Maldives.
The atoll has some phenomenal surf breaks, particularly during the southwest monsoon. Snorkellers and divers find abundant marine life that hasn’t been overfished or stressed. The local islands maintain deep traditions, and the hospitality is genuine and warm.
